Founded in 2011, LAZZARO brings together traditional bone china manufacturing and contemporary design from some of the best designers across the world. Made in our own factories, we control the body, the glaze and the firing — and we publish the test results.

LAZZARO is made at two plants of our own in India. Both hold ISO 9001:2015 quality management and SEDEX SMETA 4-pillar ethical audit, and products are tested at a Lucideon-approved laboratory to British Standard 5416 for china tableware and BS 4034 for vitrified hotelware.

The Italian idea of making something out of nothing is our principle for reducing waste. We reuse all unfired clay, recycle all water, and ship in packaging that is free of Styrofoam and fully recyclable.
